Broxbourne Olympic White Water Course

This project comprises of the construction of a 300 metre Olympic Course and a 160 metre intermediate course to provide the venue for the White water slalom competition for the 2012 Olympics and a comprehensive legacy facility for White water canoeing and rafting.

The winding concrete course will be filled with fake boulders before enough water to fill 5000 olympic sized swimming pools is pumped in to create the rapids.

The project includes a 1,700 m2 facility building, infrastructure, lined lake and extensive landscaping suitable for a park setting in addition to the canoeing courses.
