City of London KPMG Academy, Hackney

The project involved the construction of a school on a site in the London Borough of Hackney. The second such successful project which Northcroft have been involved with in London under the new PPC2000 form of contract. This involves all members of the team, including the designers, contractor and major sub-contractors jointly entering into one contract with the Client.

The Academy was officially opened by the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, on Monday 7th September was quoted:
“I’m so impressed by everything I’ve seen, I want to congratulate everyone who has made this possible. And I want to formally declare this great Academy open.”

The academy now provides room for approximately 1,140 pupils.

Northcroft provided full Cost Management services for all stages of the project from initial feasibility studies to completion of construction.
